Ingrid, yes, these are all good solid silver, with the 5 on the left being the heaviest and easily weighing over a 100 grams each. The 3 on the left are called Mizam and are favoured by Mauritanian women, but I'm not sure about the function of the soldered beads of different shapes.
impressif collection, nice authetic pieces.
the pair in the left is almost the same in the all sahara ( not sahel ) from mauritania until lybia. the hoggar and akakus tuareg women love them and wear them dayly.
the left first 3 ones are more mauritania,west sahara ,south marocco and a little in tuat ( algeria ).
all this bracelets are the step between the spikes ( defence bracelets ) and the flat ones.
