My mothers birth gift Sølje brooch.

Sølje, the traditional brooch worn on the Norwegian folk costume, Bunad, contains features that can be traced back to brooches from the Iron Age.This sølje belongs to my mother, and was her birth gift. It looks just like my Sølje, but lacks the outer ring on the brooch.
