Just beautiful, Amir could you show us the back side of the ring as I think it looks very different, it has no normal ring band? Thanks alot Marie.
Yes Marie-ange,i can post the back side pic..just gimme a sec.
Thanks Amir no rush!
All lovely but I too find the ring the most interesting. It makes me think that when flat it could form part of a bracelet along with other similar ones. One I recently posted has two linking parts at the side of each oval shape. I could easily believe that a similar section has been adapted to form a ring. It does need its` closing pin, though.
Think you are right Frankie, this was not a ring to begin with but is turned into one later allthough I wonder how the made it curved and not damage the enamel. It is for large fingers while the bracelets are for small hands.
I wondered about how and when the enamel was put on, too. Maybe after it was made into a curved shape.
If it first was part of a bracelet or necklace it was enamelled before it became a ring.
Yes but if the part was utised before it was incorporated in a bracelet I`m thinking that maybe it could be made curved then enamelled. It would be useful to have parts with a dual function.
