  • A total delight to see! We don`t get to see enough Indonesian items, in my opinion.

  • Hi Frankie

I spent today re arranging my albums. I have thousands of photos and wanted to divide them up better so I could find and viewers could find things.  If you go to my albums and look at Gold sold,  and Primitive Jewelry or Tribal jewelry sold, you will find Indonesian items. I have many more photos to post.

Sometimes I am halting as people might think it's too much,  but I thought i should post them so people can see them in case something happens to me, at least they will be exposed.  The information is too valuable to keep it hidden.   I have all my albums arranged according to area and what is sold , for sale or is my own personal stuff by type of jewelry and or costume etc.  I was re arranging today and some things got re posted by mistake but seems like people still enjoy to see them even if I have posted once already.. thanks

  • I`m sure I can speak for us all here when I say we not only don`t mind your reposting, Linda - we welcome it! Thanks for the Indonesian info and of course for your catalogue including some some time back.

My heart really scrunches up at the thought of you having to sell on your personal ethnic garments. Somehow they seem more personal to me than jewellery, even though most is exquisite.

But we must all scratch a living somehow.

  • what a lovely bracelet I have never seen one like this shape before, stunning!!

  • This is a famous style however due to the fact it's open in the front and not closed or soldered together, it happens to be an earlier style.  I will post later other examples of gold ones, ,some quite large that always have rubies in the small capsules. This one is silver so very unusual and also the capsules are much much smaller then usual.
