  • These are lovely, Jose. I like the red beads. Are they cornalines d'Aleppo? They suit these bracelets really well.

  • Thank you very much, Thelma. I am afraid I do not really know. They are certainly glass and there are two distinctive layers. The inner one is quite yellow rather that whitish though. Here you have a closer pic.

  • These beads are very early Corelline del appo beads a yellow glass core is covered by red glass, to imitate Coral. the red glass was made with gold sulphite, and therefore was far to expensive to make large beads. The solution was to use a cheaper glass as the core
