   I think there is another pair posted on the sight way back. Mine are very long. These are old 19th c.  They were from a collection of an elderly couple she had gotten them in the 20's and they were old then. They were her own pieces she wore. I had always wanted a pair of these and waited a long time. I think one sees them in Europe more than in the States.

   There are other styles related that are also worn by same people, I will try and post later. There are some good references for these in Africa Adorned for instance. Not all have the gold wash on them or are as long.
