Great piece. Do you know what it represents? and what is a Thungbubiel? Do you know whether the 2 holes at the top are to hang a necklace cord or are they -very modernistic!- eyes?

I am quite sure this nice thungbubie (meaning: elephant flute) is made of bone instead of ivory. Ivory does not have any of these grooves. Now a days you see more of the bone ones for sale than in the past.
