Kurdish head ornament - detail of the central ornament.

Note: This lower part should be up to the central piece, as it is the element to connect to the scarf.This red ornament in the middle is made of a thick layer of red foil placed under the glass.Decorated with red and blue beads.

    Thank you Peter. It is the most extraordinary jewel in my small collection.

    One day I will clean it and restore all the lacking beads, but now I am really attracted to this patina.. As an archaeologist I really enjoy when objects look like that.
