wow, that must be worth a fortune! I thought they were granat stones, but black diamonds! Must look at the details.
Oh i see , it only 9kt gold, hence the low price!
Nice - I overlooked this before!
Hi Joost...this is new, but made in the traditional style (I didn't buy it). A really old well-made one is even more amazing, but VERY expensive. I have seen a few for sale in high end shops on Rue Habib Bourghiba in Tunis, but way out of my price range.
I think it is good jewellery, but still remain in the grip of that fine bracelet which you showed us and which I keep looking at from time to time. If you do find another I remain just as keenly interested as ever! I hope you are well. Do you miss Tunisia?
Thanks Joost. I enjoyed my time in Tunisia. I miss Tunis very much, especially all the friends I made. (But then, I even miss Yemen with all its challenges and hardships.) My existence in Washington is both stressful and bland. Nevertheless, if I were in Tunisia now my existence might not be so enjoyable. The Salafists are stirring up a lot of trouble for everyone. I hope the Tunisians manage to resolve their problems peacefully!
