Indian necklace - further info?

I was told that the necklace was first sourced in India. It then moved to Hong Kong, then to the States and is now with me.Any thoughts on which part of India this could be from?The beads are hollow gilt silver and quite large.

the big beads. i know them from india, yours look verry old. the wwehls ones. indian,the countries arround, bali ..

The big beads are wax beads with a silver layer over them.
