Hi Preethi, I have no opinion as I dont know much about this part of the world jewelry but I find it very beautiful with a lot of intricate work.I love filigree but its a very different one from my Arab/orientalist/Algerian brooches and bracelets.
Preethi, - I do think this could well be Indian, as even the little balls at the bottom alone would suggest, together with the opulence and precision of the filigree - but I can't move beyond that, as I am not familiar with the piece. I think it would be a good idea if you asked Linda Pastorino, who knows an awful lot about Indian jewellery.
