  • please show a close-up of one or two, and indicate dimensions-

  • If you click on view full size and use the enlarge tool, it blows the beads up very large. the dimensions of each bead are from 1/8 inch to 3/4th inch each.

  • I DON"T know, LInda, but to me they have a vaguely Naga feel to them. Or otherwise from a more "primitive" culture, I would have thought, than Turkey, even though they were bought there. I shall await Stefany's view with interest!

  • i would like to see inside the holes- is the glass itself a transparent yellow or colourless?

are all the holes of different widths or the same?

  • They are glass that is hand blown and ancient looking like what one sees on Roman glass I have handled. I know they are not Naga. They have been strung like this and are not in original format. I'm curious about beads not particularly necklace stringing which is as is a a use of what are a bead product.

  • I mentioned Naga only as an example, Linda, because of the shape. But they are obviously more luxurious than anything produced there. Yet they don't look particularly urban to me - rather a puzzle. Perhaps they ARE ancient??
