Traditional bridal/festive ‘gerdanlık’ (choker necklace). From the Pomak villages in the Biga district (Çanakkale province). 1925-1950. Bead-work with small glass beads, late-Ottoman coins and a shell. (Inv.nr. bon030 - Kavak Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium). (SOLD to the ‘Etnografisch Museum, Antwerpen’, as part of a full costume).
