  • Did you mean that these beauties coul date back to Gandhara (greek influenced) culture?

     

    That would make them highly desirable museul pieces!!

     

    Though i have a gut feeling of some early persian or/and islamic influence!

     

    The coulour of the garnets are incredible

  • I purchased them to be ancient, i'm still investigating. I have  had several Gandaran, and Etruscan  pieces in the past but since I have not handled them in so long or enough  I am still not 100% about these yet.  My gut is about 90% that they are correct.  I have seen fakes and they look fake pieces and they look fake, to me these don't .  They have a burial surface here and there but have been cleaned  and the garnets look as if they are like those that have been buried. I'm hoping I can show them to some one to find out for sure.  They would be 2nd -4th c if old.
