  • This is spectacular! The four glass cabochons around the sides are so lovely and the back is as nice as the front. What a great piece.
  • Becky, - I very much like this "foulet hamsa" of yours. Truus and I have one from the same region (northern part of the High Atlas Mountains), and the same age (19th/20th c), which is shown in Truus's *Ethnic Jewellery and Adornment*, p. 409. They are lovely pieces, made of very nice silver with a great patina, both of them. Congrats and best wishes, - Joost
  • Thank you - I really love this piece and it is actually on what must be an old braided leather "thong". The end of the leather is too large to pass through the bail so it seems as if it was put on and then the bail was closed. Sadly some of the leather threads have broken, but I don't want to take it off. Becky
