  Lovely ones! They seem to  be similar to mine. (I have a few made of different materials, one is only brass (evtl. guilded, one can see the brass at the backside.Another is probably an alloy and guilded (the one I wear quite often), and finally a very worn one of good silver and traces of guild). This pair  looks like a good workmanship, especially the middle of the top (arranged like a cross).Mine do not have this. The photo is also very nice! Love it.

  THX Eva. Yes, I also liked the little granulated cross-shape on top. I don't think these larger types of pendants are very old, and assume that they were worn by less well-off people who could not afford to wear gilded silver or even gold. I see a lot of them around these days.

  Once more: it is a pity that they blend copper into it, because this causes the oxidation into green. Ingrid was talking about this last week. I have a pair which was so beautiful, it looked like silver on the top with some guild, I bought it from someone in the USA; now it is greyish, inspite of my cleaning it. It lost a lot of it s charm due to this. I dare not to clean it too much as it will loose the last traces of guild.

  sorry, your other comment came in between when I was writing the one below, yes the Little cross on top is really very nice! I just checked, there is None like this on my Pendants. So it is quite Special! Good for you! Enjoy

  Hi Betty, these are special not only for their enormous diameter but especially for their height, I have never seen them as high as 3 cm,  Are you sure you measured them right? And their decoration is also unusual. They do almost look like shield decorations. I do like them very much as objects. And the work is well done especially looking at the granulate. Like Eva commented  very special decoration.

  You are right, Ingrid, I made a mistake when measuring them: the height is 2.6/2.5cm; the diameter is about right, maybe 3.5/3.6 cm). Still very big... Here's a view fom the side. It almost looks like a tukul :-)

  Nevertheless, it is quite an impressing one also with a smaller height. And as you said, the Little cross  in the middle seems unique. I searched for a pic of all my sets and here it is: there is None with a cross decoration in the middle! It Looks very nice, this small cross made of granules, I love it! Be happy!  (the three round items at the right brim are ear studs (similar, but non-matching). I bought them all in 2012.

  Lovely to see your collection complete with the earstuds, Eva! I still love your smallest set best of all...

  Just did a quick search of my "virtual collection" and found that my piece with the cross is far from unique. I assume they are newer pieces, or perhaps worn in a specific region. Some example (see pic and links):

  wow, thank you! I knew one of the sources (knowing is exaggerated, but I knew the shop). Even, if your set  is not unique (until now it was!), it is very nice....... Will Keep an eye on the offers... thank you, you are really Kind!!!! Not everyone would reveal ......... The cross-shaped middle is much nicer than the round one.  (My ear studs are nice but not matching. I can wear two, the 3rd one has a thick copper or brass pin, impossible for our ears!)  I am a bit short of Money..... but perhaps it is still available at a later date.. thank you anyway
