Fibula - Morocco

I have bought it in Marrakesh...is it old?? From which area? I appreciate all the information.

    Hi Isabel,

    This style is called cow head due to the shape. The origins of such a style are the Haha region close to Essaouria on the Atlantic coast.

    At first look there are some mixed stylised aspects. And little wear to the piece....

    Could you post a picture of the back of the piece please.

    Not old at all but as Sarah said it was meant to look like the "HAHA" tribe's cow (or sometimes ram) head fibulas south of Essaouira
