Traditional woollen ‘önlük’ (apron) from the Pomak villages in the Biga district (Çanakkale province). Locally called 'önleç'; part of a bridal/festive costume, mid-20th century. Edged with cotton crochet lace, and adorned with small metallic spirals, cotton embroideries, small glass beads, and lots of sequins (both metal and mica). (Inv.nr. önL101 - Kavak Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium).
