Ethiopian cross from city of Hajk

Had reflected whether to load this here or not, now I decided to do so. It is apparently a monk's cross from the City of Hajk (or Hayk), in northern Ethiopia, Wolo region. Thanks to the help of Betty, I was at last able to identify it. There seems to be an old monastery there, where the Monks have worn this type of cross. Hajk should mean "water" or "lake", I read somewhere, as Hajk City is at a lake. It is huge, approx. 11,5 cm, and of mixed metal. I always liked this form, having seen it many times, but would have prefered a smaller one. I will not wear it, it is too big for me, but nice to have it in my collection,
