Ethiopian Copper Spiral Pendant

approx 5 x 3,9 cm, very old, very heavy, expensive (more expensive than my silver pins), no idea which ethnical group, bought in Addis Abeba, July 2013 and highly appreciated by the Ethiopian seller. Looks very nice with the black and copper. (It is Oromo, acc. to a Exhibition catalogue)

    @Betty: thanks for the info, yes, could be, the seller did not know. He only said it was the most expensive Piece, all the rest cost a lot less. It is quite nice, I agree, and different from the Tigrini items that I usually have. Got some more pieces from this lot, but I need time to take photos etc.....
