Embroidered bodice for women, from the region around Zhaltusha village (near Ardino, Kardzhali province, southern Bulgaria). Part of the traditional festive costume, ca. 1950-1975. Ethnic group: Pomak (Bulgarian Muslims). Made of black satin, adorned with multicoloured embroideries in cotton, patchwork and zigzag-ribbons; edged with black cotton cord. (Inv.n° yel021 - Kavak Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium).
