Vintage sterling silver coned bracelet from Rajasthan - India. Inside a black plastic band on wich the silver is attached, opens with a clasp.

    Traditionally these have been made entirely of silver, and were more elaborate. See Oppi Untracht, p. 255, for an image of the more "iconic" version, with elaborate description. The type is also illustrated elsewhere, of course.
