the backing textile seems too crude to be worn by a lady!!!

where does it come from? do u have any info on the geographical origin?

None - picked up at auction recently, supposedly worn by camels as a head-dress? There is no associated smell though.

lol....well you would be surprised as to how much care these animals as well as horses received for their owners in some countries.

animal adornment such as these were quite common!!
