Hi Thelma - I'm not really sure , thought they might be stylised dragons chasing flaming pearls , but not seen anything similar

Dear Nick; This is a beauty - so unusual. A dragon sounds good, which would place this piece to China/Mongolia, maybe Tibet... With kind regards. Peter
