  nice colection mustafa. i actualy always get confused in this pieces. i could never know exactly if theyx are from aures,tunisia or lybia.but in the past, they were all connected and the market eloued in Lageria,tunis and tripoli was very closly connected. i know about smiths working in eloued and aures and taking their pieces for hallmark in tripoli and buying there jewelry for sale in tunisian and algeiran markts

  I think you are right Ait.In history these things move and therefore they were used by different people in these areas. This specific piece is hall marked in Tripoli, that is why I thought it is interesting to post. But you know more than me on the history of these things and may be there a closer connection in the past. Thanks for your information which I find always add to my limited knowledge on N. Africa
