Sorry Paul. I did mean to leave that on. I forgot to put a title for the picture and the 'word' copy was part of the slide no. The hall marks were pictured from the interior of the cuff and they represent known silversmiths who were popular master-smiths in the past. Thanks for your interest Paul

The left 'lower' one is for the known Jewish silver smith 'LABI' who was known for his professional work in Tripoli. The other one 'right top' whom I do not remember that I heard his name before as a silversmith is ' al Jamal'. The third one in the next picture is a Turkish 'Tagrah' as you know.

many thanks for your very good explanation. It was very interesting for me. I am always interested in old hallmarks, especially from Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia/Libya. I asked already in this forum about the meanig of numbers (like 2,3,4,5,6) in old tunisian or libyian cuffs. follow this link:
