yummie, yummie!!!
Hi one of my last purchases this week. I thought of you when I got it, funny!
Splendid, just like the sun!
would love to buy and turn into a ring but I can't as it is enameled it can't be soldered in the normal way.
nice piece.
is it a ring ? do it look reworked ? need foto of the backside. have some idea but not sure
No i purchased it to make a ring. It is a pin as it is.
Hi this has to bonded. not soldered. Jewelers here use that technique all the time. Special metal bonding agents i get from jewelers supplies. I have to find a ring band in my rings to use.
definetly not soldering. maybe the enameling will survive but the coral will be pale later on, atleast taking out before soldering.
is it a hallmark what to see on foto ?
that's what I meant this can't have a ring band attached by soldering as the enamel will melt and the coral will crack.
I would take it to a jeweler and have a bezel on a ring made to fit. Treat it as you would treat an old coin. No danger of heat damage and you can always have it taken out later.
