  • beautiul collection and Display!

  • Thank you Eva, The background is the Ethiopian warm outer stoles, called gabbies, which are hand spun and handwoven cotten  and than sewn together in layers, so lovely warm, light and machine washable.

You really have been busy commenting on all my displays.  Thank you for your support. Gr. Ingrid.

  • you are very welcome, the pieces here and on your other Pictures are all beauties and worth comments and interest. Thanks also for the info about the tissue, it Looks very soft and has a nice  colour. All in all, a perfect Display.

  • Thank Eva, also I have taken your and Lynn's advice on adjusting the color  and I do use that now quite a bit.  Actually I have to practice to set the camera for the right lightning to catch the warm sheen.

  • Photography is an art too........... you know! I will go again to Basle on the Weekend in order to photograph again the 4 baby-cheetahs, which I have already done, but I am out to get the dream photo, which I haven't got yet !  It is in a way, like painting a Picture - you can do miracles with a camera  (with jewellery you Need to arrange them nicely and it depends on you (the photographer), with animals you Need Patience and it depends a lot on them (the Motive) . Sorry for my detour from the jewels. But it all hangs somehow together.

  • absolutely, because it is all to please the eye and therefore enjoy life.

  • I can only agree with Eva: a lovely display of some most wonderful crosses - again including many unusual shapes...I love gabbies! You are right: they are amazingly warm and light-weight at the same time.

  • So Betty you most probably has been wrapped in it as well.  Thank you. gr. Ingrid.
