  • Dear Peter, I can understand that they are rare, considering all that skilled file grain work.  Not all silver smith can do this type of work, very very time consuming high skill and a steady hand. (This knowledge I have from the Ethiopian silver smith. I love the contrasting center pendant as well. Great find. Gr. Ingrid.

  • Congratulations Peter!  The filigree work on this necklace is so spectacular I could scarcely tell the difference between the Aleppo version and the Yemeni version.
