Dear Lynn; Many thanks for your message. I, like you, have never seen such a belt before either but specialists confirmed to me that it is indeed an Ottoman belt. I assume that it is from Turkey but I am not 100% sure. Anyhow, I keep on investigate the exact origin of this belt and once I know more, I will let you know. With kind regards. Peter
