  • We bought this from an antiquities dealer from Afghanistan.  We became interested in Bactria when we lived in Afghanistan. 

  • Very nice, Anna. I have not seen this type before. I do have the decorated pottery and some necklaces of shell material.

  • @Harald: Yes, I have some of those diagonally striated pieces, only a few, because some have been sold.  And I have a lot of shell beads, both on necklaces and as loose pieces.  My family is rather fanatic about Bactrian artifacts.  I like the beads and pots and my husband likes the copper (Early Bronze) geometric seals.
