  • Dear Betty; Many thanks for your message. They are old and I would say even very old but I do not really know the exact age. I like them very much indeed. You know why? Because they do not feature gilding. It is much more difficult for a Turkoman piece to stand out and look good without gilding. The gilding always makes a piece look stunning. However, there is much more craftsmanship required for a piece without gilding, especially when it features such clear lines. N. o doubt, the silver smith was very skillful! With kind regards. Peter

  • These are quite difficult to find now. I love the old cord that strings them together. Ersari, I think.
