i see it as ethiopian too
there are two Ethiopian crosses of that style, one is a Lalibela version, and one from Jimma. I tend to the Lalibela version. see encl. pics
It is definitely an Ethiopian cross. Here is the legend for the pic I enclosed in my previous comment. There are more than one type called Lalibela, normally the one with the four doves at the sides, but some areas have 2 or 3 varieties.
