  • I suspect this bead is Nepalese but I can always be wrong.
  • I do think that this bead is Indian, although the workmanship is similar.  The bead was purchased in Tucson at one of the many shows.  The dealer was Indian and had a lot of pieces with this work.  It looks Rajasthani to me.  Do you have something similar that would lead you to think it is Nepalese?  I would love to see/ hear what you think.  It is true that may Indians have been going to Nepal to have silver work done there in the past 10-15 years.  I have a Nepalese bead that I will post for comparison; I often find the Nepalese work a bit finer.
