this piece is at least between 1940 and 1950. could be even earlyer. 100 % beni yenni. it is difficult to find such a pieces now.

i saw some semilar in beni yenni but the owners keep them for themselvs , even the stores owners, no way the sell one.

    i m happy for you

  • if i remember good, Pati has a pair and joost has also. all of them are beautiful and have almost the same samples

  • IMG_0020.JPG?width=737&height=552These are mine, a little different in silverwork but quite old as well.

  • IMG_0021.JPG?width=737&height=552Here is another, more like yours. It is interesting that we always think of Kabyle pieces as being full of color, but a lot of them  are basically etched or repousse silver with a few colors of enamel or no enamel at all.

  • Pati. i remember good yours. the pair is beautiful and always think about, the one alone, i have almost the same but without coral and enamel

  • Superb!
  • Hi Jose, - I have sent you a photo of a pair we have. It can also easily be found among my photos. They are very similar to your piece here, and came from Linda Pastorino. We live with our pair every day.
