A little creation of mine

I am currently making an inventory of all the tits and bits i gathered during the past few years through my traveling (pendants, earrings, beads, bracelets, rings....), and decided to create this little necklace from a tuareg leather thong, a south moroccan ring-shaped old shell hair decoration and a tiny ottoman silver coin with a bale.....i really enjoy wearing it. This i managed to keep for me, but i am trying to find a new loving home for tens and tens of other ethnic jewels listed on my EBAY page here : http://shop.ebay.fr/i.html?_ipg=25&rt=nc&_sop=10&cmd=Blend&_ssn=tingitane&cmd=Blend Please have a look

  • Your creation is wonderful Ayis. And the Ebay items are very tempting.

  • Thanx TOYA, you are giving me much honor for a first shot, simple and easy to make that is.

I have got so many bits surrounding my bigger and complete jewelry, that i don't know what to make with them. Each time i go somewhere i find my self filling my basket with loose beads, pendants, rings, ornaments.......they build up quite easily in the boxes tucked in drawers!!LOL

At one time i decided to begin making necklaces and bracelets using these old elements, there is so much available of them in countries of origin...so i was tempted to reuse them but felt compelled to achieve a perfect work and eventually abandonned the idea when i came across FAOUZI, MARIE-ANGE or LINDA's creations, now that was perfection.

Obviously i am lacking technical training and i am not only drawn in stringing elements but would love to contribute with a minimal smithing work such as making chain links or studding ivory beads with silver nails!!!

So i let other  passionate persons in charge of this duty of bringing a new life to these little wonders.

  • You are lucky to have so much wonderful stuff to work with. Perfection in creative work is elusive. The ivory beads with silver nails sound intriguing. I look forward to seeing  the next thing you create.

  • Very nice, I love the simple things. Although I collected also a few big items, I never wear them. I would feel too "loaded". Therefore: A very lovely, wearable creation. Sometimes I also create small items, and I like yours. Will look at your site, but have no money at the time being.
  • am bidding allready......

  • Wonderful things offered in your shop.  I am sure you will have no trouble finding buyers.  Best wishes, Anna
