  • A very likable item! I have never seen such an item before. Very interesting. How big is it ? And how was this attached to the horse? 

  • This has clasps at the bottom through which the leather belt's of the horse's trappings must pass. Detailed images are available on my website wovensouls.com

  • Harald, It was not clear even to the jeweler that I acquired it from - who is an 80 year old expert in this field - whether this sits on the forehead or the tailhead of the horse. Maybe old photographs from books will eventually show us similar examples.

  • Yes, for me, it brings back an age when these sounds could be heard ... the clipclopping of horses hooves and the tinkling of bells to announce the presence of a visitor. A quieter place. No surrounding noise of the engines of motorcycles, buses, tuc-tucs.......
