Marie Ange, there's a photo on p.87 of Heather Colyer Ross's book 'The Art of Bedouin Jewellery' which shows an earring similar to yours . It says the style is known as halaq or khurs. It seems to come from Oman. She has only one...Congratulations in having a full set!
Thanks a lot Thelma for your input, my feeling was they are from Oman but the owner had no clue he called them ethnic earrings.
There's another opinion around too! Have a look at Tribaltrappings.com and you'll see an earring exactly the same as yours ...the seller seems to think it could come from Saudi Arabia.

I was thinking ethiopia at first glance but saudi arabia is close enough in style and such high filgree work could come from there.
This style of earrings (down under with a sphere finial (ball, filgreed ball...) is common to the region anyway
I guess southern saudi Arabia Near the coast, jizan and Najran provinces or even the Tihama Coastal plain facing the african horn
Thanks Ayis, I am happy you did not bid against me....I have been searching in my books and can't place them in Oman, Saudi Arabia is more likely now I guess.
To me they do have an Omani look. Especially the winding of the silver tread is the same as on several different earrings from Oman. The "beads" look both Yemeni and Omani.
I agree Harald but still I can't find them in Oman adorned or somewhere else saying they are Omani.

This is indeed Saudi Arabian. There is a picture of one in Colyer Ross's book. It is known as halaq or khurs and well done for finding this fine pair!
