  • Wow! Beautiful! I see similar beads like the one I just posted as a single bead. Wonderful amber beads!

  • Hi Eva, yes I wanted to show you this necklace as it has similar beads!

  • thanks, Marie-Ange, they are wonderful, I saw this immediately (that they are similar to the single bead from you ) and of course, also the amber beads are great!

  • Oh, LOVE all of those silver Mauritanian beads!

  • Amazing necklace. So how old are the silver beads from Mauritania? I have a few purchased from Rita Okrent and they are so old they seem almost like they are from another world.

  • These beads are truly unique I think, multi patterns and shapes, no clue about age however.....

  • oh i do Marie Ange!!! but you have  added in you masterful and artful touch...

these are necklaces i d love to see  around a women's delicate neck rather than hidden in a cupboard...It is a necklace that choses you rather that be chosen by you  :-)

Mauritanian people even if living in harsh environment have made such  wonderful jewels

The fragile and delicate silver beads mix well with the shiny amber beads....

  • What a dream, Maria-Ange! I've been looking for one of these for a while now, but perhaps as Ayis says I have to wait for the necklace to choose me :)

  • I had never seen this type of mauritanian silver beads (apart from the ones posted by Toya) and I liked them very much. They are really beautiful!

  • @Ayis you are right I added some extra silver beads to make the necklace longer!
