Beautiful pendant with the crescent moon and the star. And on the moon there seem to be two birds heads? I wonder what it means.
Thank you Thelma. The photo is showing the reverse of the pendant, actually. The front of the crescent moon is decorated with small dots. I always thought that what looks like bird's heads to you are two fish symbolizing fertility - which would be quite typical for a salhat pendant. But I must admit that there's room for interpretation :-). I have close-ups of this pendent in my albums (I think its the first piece I ever posted).
