Very colourful.....did you join them? I hope that they were successful. They have such a sad history, i.e. having to convert from a nomadic life style to sedentary....and not lose their identity in the process. Hard. For a few who succeed how many fall by the roadside?
chantal thank you. yes i joined them.during the exhibition, i spent 2 days together with this touareg smith on photo. he is one of my best friends in Tamanrasset. i actualy organised almost everything for him in Paris and Berlin ( thanks internet and cellular )
he brought me alot of my items i ordered from him and items i bought and could not bring myself with
Nice, and a good idea to take a shot! Must be very special because it is your friend! So you could talk a lot about home... I have seen similar tents here in Zurich (or near towns) at exhibitions and so called "Africa-Days", we have twice a year such an event with concerts of African musicians. A good idea to take a photo! They usually give free green tea and sell jewellery. But they did not have so many beautiful things like your friend......love the Veil Weights! But they sold only new items, so after some years I stopped buying there.

Thank you a lot. thank you also for the link. yes it is nice thoes african festivals. for a persone who has no opportunity to visite africa, is a good welcome. we have it here too and it is 3 days. always full. kulinar, handwork until music and dance . i take only the handwork side, it takes me all the day i have to spend there ;-)

Ait Ouakli: I included the links of two such festivals in Winterthur and Rheinfelden, both not too far from the biggest city in Switzerland (Zurich). Even if you cannot go there, perhaps you can have a look at the link. Anyway, I wish you good business.....! And many nice visitors and interesting tea talks.
Eva , thank you for the festivl links. personaly, i do not visite big festivals with a lot music. i have friends who will be verry happy , they are present in all afrivan and reggae festivals in germany and countries arround
