  • They are all synthetic? What a pity. Sri Lanka is known for real wonderful gems.........!  (Of course, as Long as it is sold as synthetic, it is ok.... (I once bought an emerald in Thailand with someone from at that time my Thai Family, a respect Person wearing a high Military uniform (they said this way they would not dare to cheat), well, the emerald turned out to be a synthetic one and I was really really destroyed morally. because I had paid a high Price, believing it was the real Thing. That is some 30 years ago...

I still have it, and I have not forgotten the enormeous disappointment, when I got home to Switzerland and was told, it was not real....... inspite of the Thai accompanying me in a high rank Military uniform.
