Here an artist drawing of different shields and outfits of Ethiopia. In the middle an Dejechmatch (duke) outfit with the lion manes on his head and the embroidered solomic crosses (jewelgold thread)

Good to see the leather shield in use on this picture. There were quite a lot of those on the market the last 6 years or more.
