Qilin

Counter Balance necklace is very international. Inspired by the center piece which is a antique Chinese Qilin from the Qing Dynasty. The 5th picture is the back which has alot to offer from behind which serves to keep the weight off the neck and falls on the shoulder. It is really a show piece now as I think I got carried away and lost when I designed this years ago.

  • I like the colours, especially the blues, I can see some blue Dogon beads, which I love. If this is worn over a very simple dress with no extras, it might look smashing!

  • Thanks for your comment Eva. Yes, I used to use this necklace with a all white dress and just a silver cuff.  Blues were my main color that started with the large glass bead from Germany that was from the last batch made at that time.
