Am sure it must have taken a while! Not many loopless ones left these days. They are wonderful.
beautiful display and crosses, even a Karaga. And lovely small Talhakimts. My favourite is in general the Iferouane, that is the one I collect the most, but not so easy to find. But this "double decker" cross is the crown of them all!!!! Absolutely great.

thanks Toya, that is a wonderful way to explain the power of the Tuareg crosses. I am also wearing Tuareg jewellery nearly always, since the same length of time....... got mine from people who went to the Sahara, from own trips to various countries of the Sahara borders, and finally also from Ebay.
Preethi and Eva, I collected these in the States over the past 25 years. I love the old worn ones. I wear them all the time, and people who know nothing about ethnic jewelry will stop and ask me questions about them. I like the way the design is so powerful that it transcends cultures and speaks to everyone.
