Old Silver Beads

Typical spherical beads and a very unusual bead with the 6-pointed star talisman. The star is super-imposed over the crescent moon shape, also a talisman. The bead is comprised of 2 pieces of silver with an exposed edge at the seam. I have on occasion seen this fabrication technique on other beads, including the pendant on the skhab necklace in my posted photos.
