    Nuts on silver, very clever!!

  • I would love to know what kind of nuts they are and if they have some special meaning.. to use any nuts is not quite what these people do. 

  • These remind me of small plum pits.

  • We find plums a lot in Qinq dynasty jewelry, so perhaps they have a more symbolic meaning.

  • Yes you are correct.. also Nectarines have similar. But plum would make sense since you see it allot.

    I have a book on Chinese symbols I should look it up and find out what in fact the plum stands for. I know I have read that the bamboo bracelets worn in Mongolia were only worn when  a woman was older and of a certain age. I will look that up too and find out why.. there are two very good books on that subject and I will list them here when I find out the answer.  I don't retain the info like I used to.
