North Indian Necklace

A necklace from North India, likely Rajasthan, in high grade silver. With many chains, each link of which has an applied stamped-granulation design. The chains meet in triangular shaped terminal elements, each one decorated with many bells. One of them opens with a screw.

  • This looks very elegant Lynn. And the chainwork is exceptional. The amount of time and skill spent in making the chains must have been enormous. I wonder how much the original silversmith charged for his work.
