Moroccan Berber silver and coral adornment

I do not know its actual provenance. I have seen some similar pieces described as from Foum Zguid and used by the Tata, Akka. They can either hang from fibulas or used as temple ornaments.

Can the box be opened? I have a pair of fubula with those boxes and mine are used to store little thing or some perfumed pieces of cloth.

This one has not back cover, Harald. Actually it very much look like it has never had and it was meant like that from the time it was made.
