Dear Jean-Marie, thank you for posting this. The workmanship is fabulous and I love how robust the chain work and coins are, which of course they would have to be to be worn by a horse. For some reason late-Ottoman jewelry from Anatolia proper is usually lighter than the same type of jewelry re-interpreted for more southern regions such as Palestine where the silver is very heavy and robust. Without your ID I would have guessed this was from Palestine.
